
The machine doesn't feature a punctuation error; it's just generally bizarre. I guess the problem is that the "S" in "ATM" shouldn't be there. I wanted to take a picture of it without the random guy in it (sorry, random guy!), but he was standing at the ATM for about five minutes, and I just couldn't wait any longer. He must have been confused by the sign, too.
The extra S is indeed odd, but perhaps the use of both ATM and CASH were to assist those that don't know what ATM means.
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly possible. It would be fine if it said, "Get cash here" or something.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the signmaker was trying to indicate that the cash belongs to the ATM, but they left out an apostrophe? I know it's unlikely, but that's the only way this sign makes sense to me.
