After Senator Chambliss won the runoff election in Georgia, RNC Chairman Mike Duncan wrote an
article on
politico.com that contained an apostrophe catastrophe.

Michelle saw
Keith Olbermann point out the error on MSNBC and e-mailed me to tell me about it. Thanks,
Michelle!
The awesome part is how it's spelled correctly at the start of the very next sentence.
ReplyDeleteYES, WE CAN...use apostrophes better than the Republicans! :)
ReplyDeleteRe-election is missing a hyphen.
ReplyDeleteI prefer it with a hyphen, but I don't think reelection is wrong. It's in the dictionary.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I tend to think of Republicans as being better educated and less likely to abuse apostrophes. Nice to see old Keith doing something useful for once!
ReplyDeleteDepends on the type of Republicans, I guess. One branch of the Republican party (e.g., the Sarah Palin types) seem to be all about glorifying ignorance.
