Just When I Thought I Had Seen It All...

I've been blogging about bad punctuation for one year* and two days now, so I thought I had seen all of the possible ways to misuse an apostrophe. But I was wrong. I received the photo below from another punctuation stickler named Becky. She spotted this bizarre apostrophe catastrophe at a Sephora in Seattle.


I-apostrophe-t-s?!? Maybe the person who wrote the sign was inhaling toxic cosmetics or something. I am speechless.

*Tuesday was my blogiversary, and I didn't even notice! I should have had someone bake me a cake or something. Obviously, I wouldn't use the company that made this one. Ah, my first posting....

    Happy belated blogiversary! :)

    I am very disappointed in both OPI and Sephora. I'm a Sephora addict who uses nothing but OPI polishes on her nails...and I still disapprove! Such a silly error.

    Thanks! I don't even know what OPI is, actually. I bite my nails. I know... it's a bad habit. But not as bad as doing heroin or something.
