Cutting Crew

Meghan, who spotted this apostrophe catastrophe at Hobby Lobby, deemed it "painful."


I would have to agree. Someone ought to use the cutter's to cut out the catastrophe from that sign.

    Ugh, grammar FAIL! I think I know where this was taken...there's always a punctuation mistake in that store that gives me the heebie-jeebies (or heebie-jeebie's, if you will).

    Why didn't they put an apostrophe in "shears?" The absence of one makes it even more puzzling.

    Hobby Lobby also constantly misuses the word "everyday" as you can see on this sign.

    I see this so often that I could start an "everyday" blog pointing them out. Every time (yes, two words) I see "everyday" when it should be "every day," I almost snap.
