Maybe I should have offered my proofreading services in exchange for parts and labor, but I just took my igntition key back and went back to work. So, I will probably never listen to another CD again, which is a little bit sad. Other than the broken CD player, my 2004 car is in pretty decent shape, and family tradition dictates that I can't buy a new car until the previous one is literally held together with duct tape. (Hi, Dad!)
You can get an aftermarket stereo for a lot less. Take a look at Crutchfield. (www.crutchfield.com) (I'm not affiliated with them, but I have bought from them before.)
ReplyDeleteBack to the post, though ... it also is strange that the "s" is the only small letter on the sign.
Did you really mean it when you wrote "literally held together with duct tape"? (Sorry, but as well as misplaced apostrophes, the non-literal use of the word 'literally' is one of my bugbears.) ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've got an '05 civic and I just replaced the stereo to put in one that could play my ipod. $100 at walmart and $20 for the dash install kit. It was pretty easy to do. All hope is not lost!
ReplyDeleteYes, I meant "literally" literally. Thanks for asking. And thanks for the tips on stereos.
ReplyDeleteUm, did you really mean "igntition"?
ReplyDeleteNo, I meant "ignition." This isn't a spelling blog!
