As we learned
last year, the second Sunday in May is known as Mother's Day. Unfortunately, this e-mail from TAZA Chocolate leaves out the apostrophe in the name of the holiday and adds an errant one to the phrase "mom's love chocolate
[sic]."

I'd stick with flowers. Or Rolling Stones tickets.
Oof! Thanks for the skewerin'. I mean, skewering. Or, whatever.
ReplyDeleteBeer + email blasts = occasional apostrophic (?) mishap. Anyway, props to you for keeping us honest.
Hope this catastrophe doesn't keep you from stopping by our Open House on Saturday.

You must have a Google alert set up, eh? The open house does sound pretty sweet, but I have plans on Saturday. What time does it start? I might be able to squeeze it in.
ReplyDeleteI know what happened. The apostrophe from "Mothers Day" must have slipped down the page!
ReplyDeleteThis is just embarassing...
