Gardening Catastrophe

Someone handed this flyer to Kate's husband in Hampton, England:

I don't know if I have ever seen so many apostrophe catastrophes on one page! While it's not technically an error, per se, it looks awkward to start an advertisement with parentheses.

Thanks, Kate!

And they probably paid a professional for this.

Also - I don't know if I'm the first to notice this, but "lady gardener" can have a different meaning to the standard horticultural one. If that's what they mean, the poster is so coy it's confusing. It could be a bit embarrassing if the gardeners turn up and try to trim a lady's, um, hedge with power tools ...

Haha how did I miss that?!? I have the dirtiest mind ever.

I love how "young" is a selling point for the Lady Gardener. Along with the fact that they handed the flyer to a man. Hmmmm...

I tried to be a lady gardener once. Didn't work out; they all died. I don't know if I planted them too deep or too close together.

But you know when you have this many apostrophes, rather than cull the extra's out, you might as well go with it and throw in a few more. Maybe a couple in the phone number somewhere. Ditto for the quotation marks.

These guys did a great job on a new fence for me. Had some construction challenges to work around and they were great about it? We got 3 bids and theirs was the best. All was done to pool code. Highly recommend click.
