Its' [sic] Sick

It's fairly common to see writers confuse its and it's, but its' is never correct, ever!

Its' truly horrific. But at least theyre' consistent, as this is the sign out front.

You know what's even less correct? "I'ts." I saw that on the break room fridge yesterday.

Wonder what would have happened had they tried the hyphenated spelling of "barbecue." I imagine something like "bar-b'que-"

It's was the first correct form of its, then it became its' and they dropped the apostrophe because they consider it a possessive pronoun
