LeBron James: Witness to Bad Punctuation (Again)

My friend/former co-worker Amy, who is originally from Cleveland, sent me this photo from Cleveland.com.


I understand that fans are devastated by The King's betrayal, but that does not excuse their poor punctuation.

Actually, I think the apostrophe represents the missing e, which is acceptable usage. That it's not in common usage is another matter. lol

Yes you're right, an apostrophe can be used to represent an abbreviated or simply missing letter. I think it's the website that has the catastrophe in this case!
