JumboTron Apostrophe Catastrophe

I know it can be difficult to use proper punctuation in text messages, but if you know that your message will be seen by 20,000 people, it's probably worth making a little extra effort.

Thanks to Smoochiefrog for sending in this catastrophe from a Wizards game.

I'm ashamed to say that I always use "it's" when I should use "its"... pray for my soul.

I forgive you for your sins.

Maybe they had to pay by the letter?

Hi Becky,

I love finding errors too. I have sent some to EnglishFail and Red Pen in the past. I will keep my eyes open for some new ones to send you. Please check out my linguistics blog if you get a chance - http://www.walkinthewords.blogspot.com

Pretty bad and unfortunately, pretty common.

I have one for you. How do I get it to you?

Thanks.

The your/you're epidemic is out of control. It may actually be the most frequent violation, but it's hard to say, because English speakers are generally so bad anyway.
