Seventy-Five Percent Wrong

Jim was shocked when he noticed that three out of the four words on this sign contained apostrophe catastrophes.

As we know, mens and womens are not words, but what if the store is owned by more than one guy name Gary? Jim called the store to investigate and learned that there is only one Gary. Maybe Gary should hire someone else named Gary to help him proofread.

Thanks, Jim!

Wouldn't more than one Gary actually be Garies?

I think I got it wrong (again) anyway...

Since it's a name, you wouldn't change the spelling to make it plural. Example: Monica's family is the Lewinskys.

hmmm... I know this goes somewhere.... Let's just put it at the end.

The first 'G' looks like a drop cap to me, so I read it as "Ggarys'".

Maybe Gary is a transvestite. This would explain the two Garys and the possessive us of the apostrophe. Catastrophe solved!
